  3.                            IMPORTANT NOTICE

  5.              Before running 1st&Goal for the first time, make sure that 
  6.         you are familiar with the contents of this file.
  7.  
  8.              1st&Goal  requires the following  minumum  requirements:
  9.              
  10.              720 KB OF FREE DISK SPACE. This can be free space on
  11.         a  hard disk, two 360 kb 5.25 inch disk  drives,  1 
  12.         3.5 inch disk drive, or one 1.2 meg or one 1.44 meg 
  13.         disk drive.
  14.  
  15.              A COLOR MONITOR. This can be CGA, EGA or VGA.

  17.              YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS IN THE CONFIG.SYS
  18.         FILE ON YOUR BOOT DISK OR THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF YOUR HARD DISK:
  19.                       FILES = 15
  20.                       BUFFERS = 25
  21.              These are minumum requirements. If the number of Files and 
  22.         Buffers specified in your config.sys exceeds these numbers that's 
  23.         fine. If you don't have enough files it is a simple procedure to 
  24.         add the above statements to your CONFIG.SYS file. Simply load your
  25.         current CONFIG.SYS file (found in the root directory of your
  26.         hard disk or boot-up diskette) into your favorite word
  27.         processor and add the above lines. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE FILE
  28.         IN THE ASCII FORMAT (there will be instructions on saving an
  29.         ASCII file in your word processor documentation). DOS 5 users can 
  30.         use the EDIT program that came with DOS 5. EDIT automatically saves
  31.         in the ASCII format.

  33.              To install 1st&Goal on your hard disk from a floppy or CD-ROM
  34.         disk, log to the drive containing the 1st&Goal files and type
  35.         install. You will be prompted for the directory on the hard disk and
  36.         that directory will be creatd and all files will be copied into that 
  37.         directory. To print 1st&Goal's instructions you may then type
  38.         PRINTDOC. To configure the program to your league's specifications
  39.         you may type SETUP.

  41.              To run 1st&Goal on two 360 kb disks you must have the following
  42.         files on the disk in your A: drive:
  43.                              1st&Goal.exe
  44.                              Setup.exe
  45.                              qbag.dat
  46.                              talent.nfl
  47.                              1st.hlp
  48.              During setup you will specify B: as the drive for your team
  49.         files and all the files the program creates will be on the B:
  50.         drive.

  53.    1st&Goal's registration price is $35.00. Registered users get the latest
  54.    release of the registered version of 1st&Goal. In addition you will   
  55.    receive the lastest version of the 1st&Goal GENERAL MANAGER'S DISK which
  56.    allows you to trade players or sign free agents. You will also be entitled 
  57.    to any upgrades of 1st&Goal without charge other than disk and postage
  58.    costs.

  75.              1st&Goal Fantasy Football (hereafter referred to as 1st&Goal) 
  76.         is copyrighted software - it is not now and never has been in the
  77.         public domain.
  78.              Every release of 1st&Goal comes in two versions, the ShareWare 
  79.         or Evaluation Version and the Registered Version.
  80.              The ShareWare Version of 1st&Goal is intended for evaluation 
  81.         purposes. The ShareWare Version is fully enabled so that all areas 
  82.         of the program may be tested. Registered owners get the latest
  83.         version of 1st&goal and a free copy of the program 1st&Goal General
  84.         Manager which makes player trades and allows you to sign free agents.

  99.             The ShareWare Version of 1st&Goal may be copied and distributed 
  100.    to others subject to the following conditions:
  101.             No charge may be made for 1st&Goal itself. Any fees collected for
  102.       the sale of diskettes containing 1st&Goal must be clearly stated as
  103.       being for materials and/or handling charges. The cost of the disk
  104.       containing 1st&Goal may not exceed $15.00.
  105.            All files included on the original distribution disk must be included
  106.       when the program is distributed or "uploaded" to a "bulletin board".
